Default Brakes upgrades to ALLPAWS

Hey guys, for those that know brakes would these bolt up to my RS 40?

Subaru Impreza | Brakes & Suspension | Gumtree Australia Wanneroo Area - Clarkson | 1077764528

I understand these are better than my stock setup and I believe it as my old Bugeye stopped a lot better than my new car.

Besides fluid and pads in my current car, any other ways to improve braking without a bank breaking outlay?

Cheers

From my understanding The rears are essentially exactly the same as you have now? Single sliders..
Fronts would be a marginal upgrade, but I'd look to spend a bit more (double & some) on some 08+ brembo's..

STi/Brembos won't fit under my wheels. Those K-sport ones might if the are for standard WRX's. They have two prices listed there, $1799 and $2999???

From memory, the AP Racing front kit should fit under them

Edit: I lie, they will fit with a small spacer...

Has anybody had any experience with ksport brake kits? There seems to be very little first hand word about them online, and what there is does not seem overly positive.

At this stage I'm leaning towards a brembo upgrade myself, but subbed to hear of other options. *Not meaning to hijack your thread Allpaws.

You can run the rears from the 2001- 2007 wrx (2 piston fixed calipers) if you get an adapter from KNS brakes. They'll use the rear rotors from a BRZ or 2010+ liberty gt I'm fairly sure.

Other options are sti brembos, ap racing, wilwood and stoptech (may need wheel clearance).

If you're on a tight budget, 2004-2008 liberty gt rotors and calipers can be had at a decent price, and have just slightly smaller rotors than the sti brembos.

I have a set of Endless 6 pistons that are designed to fit under standard 16s. Much better then ksport. As well as 01+ WRX 2 pot rears.

PM me or check my fs thread
