FMIC is better for bigger HP Applications otherwise its all lagggg and WANK... personally i would still go a good quality FMIC that is a decent size with a well known KIT. just because the fmic blends nicely to fill the front bumper and makes the engine bay loook awesome.. purely choice

Remember that not all FMICs are made the same
there's the tube and fin combo then there's the bar and plate
and then there's the combo of all three (which sadly isn't made anymore)

Each to their own. I wouldn't get sucked into the FMIC. You can still achieve 200kw with a TMIC, if power is what you're looking at.

Default Fmic

Chee,

Not yet, only road tuned but will be dyno'd in a few weeks when MMS get their dyno up and running.. Should be able to get it spooling a little earlier still with the dyno tune I hope...

Black03,

I't like 2" from the turbo, goint out to 2.75" after the fmic to the throttle body.. See below:

Cheers

Brett

The core is a GReddy unit. the piping I think is just locally made (I bought it second hand)

You could always stick with a TMIC just get a larger uprated unit.

Something like: http://www.airpowersystems.com.au/wrx/intercooler.htm
