Replacing Timing Belts Age Vs Kilometers
Hey everyone I'm not having any problems with my car or anything I'm still under 50,000 kilometers but my car is 6 years old and alot of shops like Mrt and that recommend to change the timing belt after 6 years or 100,000 kilometers.
My question is should I ? subaru hasn't said anything about it? I know rubber in tires can go bad after 6 years but can a timing belt also go bad with age ? something I thought i should ask before tuning and putting more power down at the end of the year.
