Default Immobiliser Issue

Hi All,

I have an 05wrx with autowatch alarm, was driving along the other day and noticed the red key symbol flashing on the dash - never noticed it while driving, only when the key is out of the ignition.

Didn't really think much of it till a couple of days later, i went to start my car and it wouldn't tick over at all....... Got it towed to Evo R - where I got the alarm installed approx 18months ago and as soon as it got off the tow truck it started first go. Managed to get it home, and turned it off and on again but it ticked over for a few seconds then the engine cut out (I'm guessing immobiliser has kicked in and cut off the fuel pump). Tried the spare key and it seemed to start fine although the red key light is still flashing.

I've tried searching for similar issues but could only find problems relating to the Brant alarm system. Anyone able to assist?

Thanks

Josh
