Default Brake Light

hey,

i have a my99 sti and recently the left brake light has stopped working...but the park light still works....ok so far i have got a new set of globes...and that didnt fix the problem...now im thinkn it could be a fuse or sumthing ???

any help would be appreciated

hmm this happened on my old car, the fitting (wiring) was loose in the end...maybe check that

just checked it.....wiggled the wires around n still no light..

is there fuses for the brake lights ??? cause i had a look n cant find them....

BOTH brake lights are on the same fuse, so it's not your problem.
Odds are it'll be a bad connection in the wiring, or a dodgy globe holder.

Have a poke around with a multimeter - it's a bit more accurate than wiggling wires

josh did you ever get this fixed? if you can remember ..

(because i have the exact same problem, but both lights aren't working)

Not sure if it's a fuse or not. LED Light inside at the bottom of the back window isn't working either =\

hey mate, is the park light brighter then the other side? coz if so then u have the globe around the wrong way champ!

If you have no brake lights, will prob be the brake light switch, located under your brake pedal. Check fuse first though
