Will a TD06 20g turbo fit a 98 wrx, i see the place where the dump pipe connects looks quite different, would i need much altering to fit this? or really not worth the trouble?

If your talking about an FP or a Deadbolt TD06, they bolt on wherever a TD04, TD05 or VF series turbo fits, so it shouldnt be a problem.

I think you need to modify up pipe\down pipe......

pretty sure you have to get rid of the topmount and run front mount aswell.
