Very good idea buying a new one Spoolin. I went through exactly the same problems as you.

The $190 was through a mate. Also IWRXOC members get discounts at STi Ozzie Park.
i also had the same AFM problem but in my 97 WRX, lucky you guys dont have this model as mine cost $661, trade discounted price too, just for the AFM.
Regents quoted $800+ and RMS was basically the same. it cost $40 to fit!!! had tried cleaning it but it was too far F*#@ED!!

glad it fixed your problem! ;)

Ok just on this topic again. After replacing my AFM the cold jerking is still there, yet now it even sort ever so slightly jerks at low revs. I think i spoke to Tuna about this, but he seem to think it may be a fuel problem.

Would it most likley be a fuel filter? Or fuel pump? Because ASG did my 75k service recently, and am not sure, but pretty positive that it should have been changed.

I'm having problems still with mine. Not sure if it is fuel or the shitoad of dust I drove through on the weekend.
Will read the code and let you know.
I have not changed fuel filter yet either, here's hoping !!!

Hot shit buddy!

Ive also had a suggestion by a member that it could be the 02 sensor playing up. Will dissconnect it tomorrow afternoon and see if she runs better or worse.

We'll get this crap sorted eventually :P Hopfully before my pistons weld themselves to my block :(
