I'just put a Power FC into my RS and it is heaps better than the Link with anti lag that I had in it (not the same one I offered on here I have 2 of them) car idles heaps better and no more soot up the back of the car and the cost $1250 installed and a safe tune booking in with AARON for a fine tune but very very happy for the cost

Yukky: PossumLink V5 for a 99/00 WRX/Si only. R Spec Chipset. No Anti-Lag (Wank)

Tuna:

Looking at my Zone Fuel Map I have (V5 Possumlink) it has 20 Zones x 10 Rows. How do you get 20x8 ?
(maybe the earlier spec chipsets perhaps ?)
Also I was of the understanding the ECU Interpolates between zones anyway ?

Any yes fuel economy suffers when I go HARD, as would most ECU's too.
380-400km is not great ecomomy. I never said it was.

From my past experiences, I would not go anywhere near a Unichip, especially one tuned by a workshop in the Northern Suburbs.

You need to ask yourself the question, what is the car going to be used for? Do you really need 4000 map points, antilag, rotational idle, gear selectable boost etc?

for an s14, i doubt many need much more then a wolf3d on open loop, but for fuel economy the zones make the car.
personally i dont use any of the 'advanced' motec features, only logging & wideband.

wrxtasy, the loss of 2 rows would be with antilag enabled, if youve got antilag and all 10 extra rows, then its a later chipset.

interpolation is great, but it doesnt get around the fact that each zoning is equally spaced in 500 rpm increments (or whatever the rev limit is / 10 or 8), motec and autronic allow you to insert rows in specific area's to ensure a very accurate fuel/ign map is set for a particular load zone, ie cruise, low throttle applications and cleanly cutting out boost spikes.

for a daily driver, fuel economy and drivability are king.

Tuna - I don't have an s14, used to though and funnily enough had a Wolf3D V4 in it, I had it setup to run closed loop when at cruise and between certain throttle% openings. Got great fuel economy too, record was 612ks from 1 tank on a weekend away. Averaged about 450ks in the city.
