Default injectors

hey.

i picked up some 2nd hand injectors (550 pink sti) and was thinking of having a crack at installing them myself. its a MY01. any pointers or things i should be aware/careful of?

keeping in mind i know fuck all about mechanics.

I hope you have an aftermarket ecu.. as you can't just go putting in injectors and hope they work.

Yeah will need to redo the fuel trims if you put em in.. might i suggest getting the car down to a workshop first, have em installed and then tuned?

I guess you could install em yourself.. but you might find it rather lumpy putting around on the current tune. DONT floor it down to the workshop, you'll end up breaking something.

yes and just use alotta lube!!!!

vasoline works great when i put mine in they just plug straight in and it also works magic keeping the orings in place!

try that dude
