I think what they're trying to say is why go to all the trouble/expense of a turbo change only to install a marginally better? version of what you already have. A vf series turbo can be had for decent money these days and you have quiet a few options to choose from.

It's a moot point considering I didn't post to justify the upgrade, but rather to ask a question. I've personally decided that's the route I want to take.

Seeing as my query wasn't actually answered, I'll take it as a no and move along.

Hang on, I am just watching the grand final of the Bachelorette. After they announce the winner of the savage fanny I will answer your query.

Savage fanny. Good name for a td04.

Not. More like soggy fanny.

Dont take it personally. I hang shit on everyones turbo choice. Ask anyone.

But 'upgrading' to a TD04 from a TD04, that does deserve special attention.

Aww shucks, I take that as an apology. Best buds? I'd be down for a picnic next cruise.

I have been trying to speak to Jamie regarding the turbo and he was in agreement that the gains on that turbo wouldn't be worth it, although the other mods are worth doing.
