Kinugawa turbos
Looking for a bit of insight into the kinugawa turbos. I know they've generally got pretty good reviews across the board but I've got a mate that's had the seals go on his after 15000. Is anyone running a bolt on upgrade and had any major issues with them?

I had a td04 20g on my gc8 many years ago, found it to be very laggy and the power it produced wasn't too crash hot. if i still had the car and had my time again i would spend a bit more and get something a bit better!

They are a very hit and miss turbo.
You can buy two identical units and discover one is just better than the other. Some produce the goods and some don't. In your shoes I'd look at the Blouch offerings they get consistently good results. They may be a bit more $$$ but you know that what you're paying for will deliver.

I have one and it's fine for the cash....However pick your wastegate spring wisely
Look at the opening pressure not the fully open pressue..... |
