Default Where to buy idle air control valve

Am after *A33-660-R00 idle air control valve , car wont run and rely on it am in brisbane if anyone can point me in the right direction?

Subaru charge over $500 from what I heard.

Your other option is Ebay. I picked up a cheapo unit for $70 (from memory it was $70-something) from Ebay and it did the job just fine!

Out of curiosity, what are the symptoms of your issues? And, have you tried cleaning it with contact/electrical cleaner? I found my original item was covered in soot and oily crap. I also sprayed into the housing where it sits/mounts so get all of the soot and oil out of there too.....

I pulled off to clean and check it was tight (the plunger) maybe i had to many weetbix that morning but the casting just snapped in half ,so its completely stuffed . I have a A33-661-R01 IACV off a 2000 ej25 engine will that work in the short term ?

Should be the same. No harm in plugging it in and trying it. Im surprised you havent done that already considering you need something rather quickly...

I have got it in there just havent taken it for a drive just yet. Will do a ecu reset and take it for a drive

Seems to work ok have ecu explorer hooked up cleared error codes and no more re appear take for a good strap this arvy.
