yep i just done this on my old rs lib thats pretty much what it says to do on the can^^^^^
i usually do this with an oil change so run the cleaner through first and change the oil.
I agree with Jacob92 i used to live further away from work to give the car a nice long run now i live less than 10 mins from work and i definitely now get more white smoke when i now do it than before.
