Default HELP! duno whats wrong with my car

Is anyone willing to drive my car and tell me exactly whats wrong with it. Please anyone who knows their WRX's well. PM me your number so we can organize a meetup. I'm getting lil lag spikes like if a sparkie isnt firing properly. I'm just not sure at all what it is. Thanks ANYONE that could help me out.

lag spikes? WTF? You mean like hesitation and misfiring when you are boosting?

I had that once... Spark plugs were fouled... New platinum plugs fixed it good!

Pull your plugs out and inspect them. Or post a pic of your plugs up here and Ill tell you whats up with your plugs...

Other possibilities are AFM is dirty, dirty injectors, coils.

But check your plugs first and that will give you an idea of whats happening

The energymotron is dusty.

Disconnect it from the flange sidenuts and clean the rotator cuff points.

Definitely go to a workshop...stuffing around with boost related problems when you dont really know what your looking for, is a recipe for disaster.

wow brett posted!

the forums is a good way to get an 'idea' what's wrong with it, and from there a workshop can confirm it. looks like it's something to do with firing, get it checked out.

I just wanted to locate the prob before taking it to a shop and gettin ripped off for nothing or something else, coz with subies im fairly noob.
I'll check all thats mentioned, thanks everyone for replies =)
Oh and another thing, i got my boost gauge installed and it only goes upto about 5.5psi, is that normal? coz i was expecting more. The car is stock all the way.
