Installing Blitz DD BOV
Hey Guys,
Picking up a Blitz DD BOV to go on my 99 rex today and want to ask a question. Searched the forums but as it's all new not much info.. I am getting an adapter that bolts straight on to the factory BOV position, but am wondering if I need to do anything else other than swap the bov's over, I guess I'll need to block off the return hose somehow, what's the best way to do that? Cheers for any help Brett |

lol in the house of dodgy mods, i used an old lock nut key and a hose clamp to block up my return line, the GFB bovs come with a proper rubber stopper, im sure you could buy one from bunnings? Nothin wrong with a bit of locknut key action tho

I had Blitz DD BOV in my REX not loud at all, sounds like a stock bov. bunnings is the place to go mate(save) and clark rubber.

i know this thread is prob quite old but have just came across the same delemer... atm i have blocked it with a bolt and clamp in the rubber part of the hose on the passenger side but only temperary.. where have the rest of you guys blocked this hose?? at the metal male end on the intake pipe, or the metal male end under the tmic, slightly easier to get to? i've been told coventries have a rubber "cap" in all sizes including the roughly 1 inch that is needed.
