And by the time a V mount is fitted you would be looking at 4g as well. Process West FMI at 1300 bucks I think will be the go, but he seems to be taking forever to get it fitted on an 06, he has had it for nearly 3 weeks....

the pics of that process west kit strike me as laggy.. sure the piping is short, but look at the size of the piping and the core, you'd get better spool with a china core mounted in the boot

I wouldn't be blowing the V-mount trumpet yet - let's see the results and data 1st.
Exactly. I am still awaiting some final results. Kevin said he would post some up after they track the car, but i haven't seen anything.

I think if there were any problems with the V mount not cooling enough it was because he still had the standard scoop on the car. If you dont remove the scoop or have a backwards facing vent/ a vent just after the intercooler, then all you get is a high pressure zone behind the intercooler and radiator and air does not move through it. High pressure from the scoop cancels out the high pressure in front of the car and u have no airflow.

I have my reverse scoop fitted at the moment and the car definitely feels stronger than before regardless of whether its a hot day or not.

Hows your RPM drop on the freeway after fitting the reverse scoop?
