Question Custom TMIC

I want to get a much larger TMIC made to suit my 96 sti (angled cooler) engine in the near future. Any suggestions on who to go to for best results?

$1320.17 WTF! Better be damn good for that kind of money. Could get a FMIC and have spare cash left over for a second hand larger turbo

I tend to agree but we are talking about a 10 year old vehicle and there would not be to many companies who have experience and or still make a tmic for a 96 rex. I am sure you could probably find someone out there to custom fab one for you as well but then the qualifty issue comes into play as always.

Do you guys know anyone who can be trusted in perth to do a good custom job? The engine is in a brumby so i dont want front mount because i want response with good power, rather than huge power but less response.

pick up a second hand hyperflow/mrt unit for about $6-700 or get a new APS copy unit from Rolins for about $700. Each core about 500x215x100-ish i.e. massive.

assuming it fits the engine bay you can then get some custom brackets made up and might need a longer hose from the turbo outlet to ic inlet.

Custom brackets is a good idea! I will check out how much room i have to play with. I said it was a 96 sti engine, not entire car! Does anyone no dimensions of late model sti tmic?
