Default Auto Gear Changes

I find auto gear changes in my rex are quite rough, like from 1st-2nd 2-nd-3rd it kind jerks and clunks in gear. Was just wondering if thats natural of the auto transmissions in turbo cars. The jjerks only noticeable off boost.
Ive checked trans oil levels and g/box levels and all good.
I own a MY99, auto, no mods

how long has it been since you changed the auto box oil?. It should really be replaced every 20,000 km on a sports car with an auto.

I'm not sure since oil g/box being changed, something like 50,000km ago, thought it was more like 100,000km for g/b oil.

Check your dipstick... the oil should be a nice red colour I beleive. If it has turned almost black, then you are way past due for an oil change on the transmission

Auto oil should be changed every 50k at least,I would try draining and refilling it twice to flush the old oil out with a 50km drive in between. It is also a good idear to run an transmision cooler.

I'll try changing the oil, what about the transmission fluid though? probably get someone else to change that one, unsure bout the proceedures with that, might be messy.
