Question

hey guys, a bit of a thread revival here...

i have a 99 liberty rx, and the speedo just went dead one day as i was driving it.
it is an electronic speedo, not cable....

have already changed speed sensor on gbox.. no change
checked plastic speedo gears in the 'box... all good there...
even swapped over the speedo unit in the dash with a spare.. no change!

i found a diagram of the wiring... apparently there are 2 sensors on the gbox? we can only find one
also there is meant to be some kind of buffer unit in the wire from the speed sensor that interprets the reading - couldnt find this nor was the diagram clear of where this connects up to...

any ideas???

jeremy

I've got a 99 cluster if you want to plug it in & see if the problem is in the speedo or somewhere else, sorry just read you've tried that.
