Default Fuel light

Hey guys and gals,

I just bought a '95 WRX and have pretty much run it empty, but no fuel light has come on. I was wondering if anyone knows if it even has a fuel light and if it does what i gotta do to get it working. I was thinking it might be a fuse but nothing seems out of place in my fuse box.

Thanx

i've never seen one on my gc8 either
perhaps i've never run it low enough - but i'd have expected it to warn me when it approaches the empty line (ie. 1mm off), which it dosn't.

you have an MY00 right?
i've got a MY99 and i have a fuel light, read the instruction manual too, it saids when the light comes on, there are still 9L of fuel left, and the light won't come off untill it reaches 14L of fuel or something..
i think an MY00 would havea f uel light

well i used that can of petrol coz i din wanna run it so low that all the crap at the bottom of the tank got sucked into the engine... i think i got about 3 litres in... about half a litre still in the tank and anothe half a litre over the car and the ground. Had to do quite a bit of cleaning. Then got a voucher from woolies and filled up... but i couldn't see any fuse that matched to the fuel light. But thanx for looking anyways. If only i had a manual to look further into it

Probably best to stick to BP98 . Sure its a rip off but you remember you get what you pay for in life..

Ohh and i dont have a fuel light on MY97. Always try to fill up when it hits 1/4 tank. Easiest way!
