D2 Coilovers

I have put a set of D2 coliovers on my 01.
They seem to wobble when I hit a bump in the road. Have had a play with the dampening but seemed to do little.
The wheels never leave the road and you feel every crevice which is understandable.
I understand the ride will be much harsher with coilovers but who is the best guy in Perth to make these most streetable ?

These are cheap, harsh coilovers...not much you can do to soften them up..

Isn't it possible to simply change the springs out to a spring with equal diameter and a lower spring rate?

As long as the new spring has the same internal diameter as the d2 spring, I don't see what the problem could be.

They are short stroke and the valving/damping adjustment sucks balls. You get what you pay for. Cant polish a turd. Live with them as they are or upgrade to a better brand. :) Main things to check it that your ride height is sensible and that you aren't bottoming them out through being too low.

Had em, they're shite, as blaise said, deal with em or upgrade.

i used to have d2's, they made me vomit every time i drove with a hang over and i got launched of humps on a regular basis, i went back to me standard struts wif king lows alot more comfortable but not to sloppy, once swaybars have been upgraded it will handle better than the d2's....... i found out the hard way - by just wacking any coilovers on your car WONT handle better, as everyone has stated you are better of spending some more in teins, DMS or alike

My JIC's are stiffer then the D2's are on their hardest setting by far. You learn to live with it :D

I can handle the harsh ride but it is the wobble that has got me baffled ?
