2 way will be like a locker.

If you can differentiate between an R160 and R180 from the parts list then it will suit.

There is a difference in the spline circlip on the <MY98 vs MY99/00 R 160's as well, so you need to keep that in mind otherwise you'll need earlier model shafts.

Hey Mate I am running a 1.5 way rear LSD Mechanical (CUSCO) in my R160. Its a bitch for a everyday driver. Noisy as hell. Havent heard many good replys about KAAZ products go cusco. Cost me around $1400 delivered.

plenty...

totally changes the character of the car. great for nuts.

realistically- its fairly hardcore, i wouldnt recommend it for a daily, likewise with a 2 way.

welding diffs is so farm hack style it is not funny.... welded the diff in our hack gemini, then it broke, so we welded it and filled it up with lead.... starting to get some slop but kinda holding together, point is welding belongs on burnout cars and farm hacks, keep them of the road!

in saying that, its a cheap alternative to a 2 way.

i wouldnt recommend a welded for winter time on your daily, but for summer fun they do make things interesting.
