Gearbox isolator mount bushings.
Ive just fitted a set, superpro part number: SPF2358K
Purchased these from the superpro head office in queensland about a month ago, cost was around $50ish. some of you might recognise these instantly and would know the the stock rubber mounts they replace are as soft as a mouse-pad. benifits: - gearbox doesnt seem to shake and vibrate as much as it did (yes i had the group-n sti gearbox mount already) - bumps and uneven ground doesnt give any additional noises through the driveline - gearshift stick stays exactly where it should under power and doesnt move about under brakes or heavy shifting, as a result your much less likely to have a mis-shift. - driveline thump between gears was definatley reduced during hard acceleration, cons: - not a quick install unless your on a hoist - maybe a 2% increase in harmonics in the cabin. overall id recommend it, its another bushing that tightens the car up and gave me the desired results. although i would recommend that you at least have the group-n sti gearbox mount fitted at the same time or in the first place.

great improvement, they really stopped a lot of the slop from the gearbox floating around under the car, so a lot less thumping, plus the gearstick stayed relatively steady, afterwards i seemed to not misengage or miss the gates as often as i used to (on the RA gearsets etc). the group-n mount can probably be found at mrt, rallispec.com, gruppe-s.com etc, good investment in my opinion.
