i dont knwo from experience so just an educated guess i would say no.
always safer and better off running some sort of tune even if its a reflash.
but even zorst will make them throw hissy fit.

interestingly I ran a VF30 and a 3in TBE for about 6 months on the stock ecu in my MY01.

It ran, had a solid kick round 4000-5500rpm but everywhere else it was slower.

Also lost about 40km/h in topend ability.
