Default max maf flow

What is the max flow (hp) that a 94 wrx maf will read to. Does any other model wrx maf flow more than others.

I believe there's a benefit of replacing the older gc8 intake with a gd model.

Think geoff stated this a while ago.

big turbos max out the maf. i was reaching 5v with the fp green at 25 psi
the way aruond it is to "trick" it using a larger diam pipe and getting a retune to suit.

perrin "big maf" comes to mind

Or you could get a Early GC8 Type RA AFM. They run a 90mm AFM from memory. As does Liberty GTB.

right......

some versions of the wrx and sti have 400g/s maps instead of the 300g/s std.

This was done for group N reasons i believe.

Nah, geoff took it out and did a comparison.

Think the diameter was a little larger and general better flowing design.

I dont recall exactly but there was a difference.. maybe someone should take an old gc8 one and gd one and take some photos.
