I think with the 100k km service the belt gets replaced.
I used some grease on the pulleys to get rid of some squeeks in that area.

so its unlikely to be timing belt. cos the air con isnt on... does the air con belt move when its is off?

check it... turn your car on and strait away put your aircon on if it squeeks its the air con...if it doesnt then turn the air con off and wait for like 5 mins and if it starts squeeking its the timing belt champ

sqeaking is caused by slippage and a timing belt wont slip unless it is extremely stuffed and if it does engine will stop... a timing belt runs teeth onto cogs... that said it could be a tensioner... |
