Default motec m800 canbus communication draft documentation v9/10 wrx pdf

Extract:
Quote:
The MY08 WRX and WRX STi uses a CAN bus network between the ABS, ECU, Centre diff controller and body computer. This CAN network operates at a speed 500kbps. The default communication speed of the M800 is 1mbps. In order to communicate with the M800 while remaining compatible with the Subaru CAN bus the communication speed of the M800 must be changed to 500kbps. This is an option in M800 ECU manager version 3.41M which is currently available from the software beta section of the motec web site. The option can be found under the tools/options menu.
