OK guys,

I fitted my vf37 type on today - with an issue.

The rod length on the actuator is too short. Comparing side by side the vf34 and vf36/37/42 types - it seems Forge have used the same rod. The rod length looks like it needs another 1.5-2cm on it.

This means that the you can fit the rod in - but to do so you have to extend it by applying 15psi pressure. This in turn means that since the rod is at full length already - it can't open the wastegate to regulate pressure.

I will send an email out now to Forge and Import Image to see how we can address this problem.

It looks like at this stage - its only going to affect the twin scroll turbos.
Talking to JME - a fix may be that you buy some longer 8mm bolts and some 10mm thick nuts to attach the actuator to the turbo - to gain the extra length in the rod. It may work - but obviously we shouldnt need to be doing this.

As for the vf36/37 type actuator - at this stage it looks like Forge will send us longer arms to install. Keep ya's posted.

No the VF34's and EVO actuators should be a direct fit.

The problem is with the VF36/37 only at this stage. Although - still waiting confirmation when someone actually fits a VF34 type on.

Sorry for the shit camera phone pic, you can see that the stock twin-scroll is longer than the Forge twin-scroll (which currently uses the same rod as the vf34).
