i dont quite understand the priceing against the size...

can someone tell me how much it would cost to cover an area. 1700mm x 700mm?

That works out to 12.8 square feet

You can get 20 for $175, so you'll have some left over.
Note that you will also have to join it to cover the area you stated.

IM looking into the nad coatings. I'm actually getting a sample sent to me to see how it looks. There offer a 20yr warranty against fading. It is pricey but will last.

I've heard stories that the 3m dosent last long at all. Just need to c if it looks good enough otherwise I'll have to get the real thing done on my interior bits.

Brian at Mad just coated me $440 plus freight. I have asked him if he would offer a GB to Perth-WRX? Will advise when I here back.

I suspect that is there minimum charge for a job. I have a number of interior items and one other exterior piece as well. Lets see what the sample looks like that Tino has being sent over then decide further action.
