RIP and condolences to his family.

My mate came off his bike at wanneroo, he raced again but gave it up shortly after. Shook him up pretty bad although he wouldn't admit it. He was pretty good too 2nd in the state. Very dangerous sport.

Love bikes too - but like you, knowing how 'unguarded' one is on a bike I don't think i'll ever get on one, even a scooter is dangerous. At least in a car you've got some frame around you to protect you to an extent. I lived through couple serious car crashes, with operations etc - If i was on a bike i'd be dead now!

Personally I love bikes....but hate them at the same time. Call it a love hate relationship.

After seeing my uncle lose an arm, a leg and nearly his life.... I've decided that if I ever own a bike...its just going to sit in the garage so I can look at it.

Very sad to hear though. RIP and condolences to friends and family of the rider.

Do we know who it was? My bro races up at wanneroo but he is up in port hedland doing a job and is interested. He had not heard of the accident

Such a shame.
