Just the thing I needed to start my week....an email from my boss saying that I need to organise a conference for a small group lawyers from the UK involved in the resource sector, who are coming here in May.

This normally isnt my job, but my bosses full inbox prevents her from doing this particular job, as small as it may seem, it happens to be extremely important...so now its my job!

As for the venue, the brief suggests that it needs to be creative, a bit "out there".

One of the venues that was suggested was the Perth Zoo.

I need to find two more venues, and first thing on a Monday morning I can't really think of any venues that are a little bit wacky or different.

Any ideas?

If they're from the UK, somewhere near the beach is always a good idea
and since you need to combine it with something out there, go swanbourne beach (use the surf club conference room/centre)

on the swan, in a boat?

or somewhere in kings park?

That stuff is all awesome, but its a pretty serious conference i.e. sitting at table with projector and powerpoint presentation, etc.

Looking for a standard conference facility with a twist

voodoo lounge in nb...i suspect not much talking would get done tho.

supa golf is different, oasis resort has all the things to hold conferances, and its a different way to play golf...plus they have restarunts etc...

have some fun games inbetween the conferance, giving passes to places...( depends on coin ) like bungie jumping, supa car rides etc..that always worked when we entertained big clients back in the day

Theres a square boat that you can hire from the barrack st jetty. It's called the chrystal Swan, looks like a giant cube and pretty stylish too.
