Australian English
Guys,
The misuse of "then" and "than" -I just don't get it. "I'd rather go for a drive then sit at home" when it should be "I'd rather go for a drive than sit at home" Where did this come from? I guess it's ok if people know they are doing it, but if they think it's correct, then god help the Australian teaching system!!! ps, the way people say the letter 'H' is funny, I've adopted that... pps, I hate it when people say "anyways" rather than "anyway" \rant Am I alone here? Should I just shut up and accept it? The sun goes around the earth you know.... |

My favorite is "Yeah, Nah"
It translates to "Yes I understand, but I also disagree" |

You're not alone.
I don't like when people use the wrong 'their/there/they're' or, 'your/you're.' Oh well. Do as you please.
