Anyone remember Rosco McGlashan??
i was reading the Wanneroo Times and saw on page 24 an advertisement that Rosco McGlashan and his wife Cheryl are into real estate?!?!?! i wonder if the aussie invader got him in so much shite that he had to go real estate to pay off the debts? he was a good bloke though.. met him when i was in my teens when he was signing posters at a car show... the aussie dream didnt work in his favour unfortunately.

I went to his house one day with a car club. He has been very quiet for a long time. Extremely nice guy though. You should see his shed....what a set up! Some one far more cynical than me might suggest that he did not have council approval for it though!

Rosco is a top bloke not was.. He is and always has been.
He is currently working on a new faster machine which as far as I know is being financed by a well known adventurer.. Well that was the story last time I saw him at golf.. Unfortunatly we all have to pay our bills and cant play withn our toys all the time.. That means having a job...

just bringing up an old thread... but just saw 7 news... rosco mc glashan got a 25mil 3 year contract (from a wealthy american) to break the land speed record...a rocket engine that is similar to what you find on a NASA space craft and a 0-2400kmh in 4.7 sec
 ..should get a 1600kmh pass (double his '93 record) a reality tv show will be made to follow the build and performing the top speed record!....good luck to him!!

Managed to see some first hand aussie invader 1 action down in esperance when i was a youngen on a family trip down there
 the guys a champ, used to live a couple of streets away from him in Mullaloo back in the mid 90's, from memory his mrs has been doing work with real estate for years, i think he's just hopped on the bandwagon

Rosco is a top bloke, we used to have a little bit to do with him when my family's business was sponsoring the Warlord Funny car back in the ravenswood days, I still remember hearing of the time he had the aussie invader at a school showing it to kids and he lit the afterburner and melted the soft top roof off of a suzuki sierra!
