Just got back from first ARC round in Queensland. Was the first event for the new Ford Fiesta Super 2000 rockets. Had teething problems with both cars, namely power steering, engine cooling, no hand brake for hairpins and a broken gearbox on SS1 but overall the guys are very happy considering the first time the cars turned a wheel in dirt was Thursday before the event. Cars are now back at Britek for 2 weeks before they head over to WA for the next round in Busselton.

Channel 10 will be showing a full wrap up of the event this Saturday at 12pm otherwise here's a few quick videos I've found trawling the internet.

Awesome fun. Cars are VERY LOUD. Like 130db loud. We can bearly hear each other through the intercom system.

Cars have ignition cut on gear change. Think of the loudest antilag you've heard then think of that without a turbo charger to act as a muffler
