the wedding had about 5 min of fireworks shot from a barge on the beach, it had live bands and live opera singers at the reception, all designer flowers, designer dress, designer pretty much everything. the engagement ring was well over $5mil and the dress was $120k USD. they also flew about 50 friends over from australia, and paid for business class A380 tickets plus all accomodation. suffice to say, it was the best wedding i've ever attended !

damn... would have beena wedding alright...

Congrats Ramondo on the big plunge mate. Next thing you know, you'll have mini chocco's running around the house. You'll have to kerb that spending to matey, the little woman will make sure of that.

Congrat's Ramon. I bet Marie is stoked!

I took the plunge and propsed to Jen on xmas eve last year. The chix at the jewellery store were laughing at me because they recon I went white as a ghost when I was handing over the cash....

However, to see the smile on her face, made me a happy man.

Not set a wedding date yet, but thinking some time in 2012.

What a waste no matter how rich you are you cant justify 30,000 on some little peice of metal :S
If Im gonna spend coin its gonna be on something we can enjoy, House, seadoos, holidays, cars, home theatre all that!
yeh thats a lot of coin when you look at what else it would buy!! my best mate spent $24k on the ring for his mrs, then $50K-odd on the day... pretty much all the profit he made when he sold his old house actually haha.. now has a rather large mortgage cause the old house wasnt up to her standards either haha..
