Unhappy RC Dilemma

hey guys,

I'm facing a rc dilemma. I have a on-road electric rc car at home. I've put quite a bit of money into it. My goal was to make it faster than your full-size car. I've recently chucked on some new harder suspension on it. But at the moment i'm pretty bored of it. I want to join a on-road electric car club but thats all the way in Maylands. Which is an hours drive from my place. There's a off-road electric club in Greenwood which is closer to my house. But that means i'd have to buy an electric buggy.

What should i do?? Should i sell my on-road electric car and make a huge loss and buy a offroad electric car? Or should i keep the on-road electric car?

Swap it for a worked off-road buggy.

I'm sure there is someone who wants to get out of off-road into on-road.

Of course you break parts, but competitive on-road can be expensive too

Get a new Losi, put a 10T triple in it and dish the chop! 7 cells FTMFW!

I had a 14T triple in mine years ago and it could do a standing 50m run on tarmac in under 2 seconds....

How's ya 60ft time ?

I've heard that there is an on road r/c car club that operates around hillary's / padbury area.......bit closer to ocean reef than maylands. I've been trying to track em down myself without success.

i frequently see a group of guys with rc cars at the old bp petrol station (near shed co) on the corner of wannero rd and hepburn ave. they are there most weekends fanging around on the smooth servo concrete.

if there is nothing NoR, why not start one up? just need a group of friends to meet regularly, and have fun...... oh that's what we are doing o the 13th. (insert free plug for p-wrx rc day here).

Yeah i could start my own rc electric on road club but... i dunno any1 who has one but thats based on no research haha! I've been to the offroad track down in Greenwood. Bit small tho. I saw some LOSI offroad buggies with just the frames, but they sell for $600+. I might just come down on the 13th just to check on everyone's cars.

But at the moment i've smashed my left suspension arm i want to get its replacement part but i got no time bcoz i work practically all the time
