If the survey was done by an insurance company, it probably relates to their claims history, i.e more men claim on car policies than women, therefore men must be worst drivers. I dunno how they arrive at this conclusion, hell i work for an insurance company and I dont understand it myself

does it mention a woman's inability to read a road map aswell... that has to be neurologically related somehow. Spatial relationships would have to be in the same "brain section" as bearing and directional knowledge aswell.

all I know for sure is that my wife has an uncanny ability to find the curb with her rims when parking. The rest is anyones guess.

Yeah i reckon its probably taken from figures based on claims.... they forget to total up all the minor carpark/curb/parking bingles that most females i know have experienced a few times.
