Its a idea theyve borrowed from the brits.

In london they have 24 hr bus lanes even on dual lane roads. So imagine canning highway with a dedicated bus lane down it. Imagine the traffic to work on that.

I among other people put up with it for months until i gave in and went to public transport.

The buses in london use to all carry front mounted cameras so if your caught travelling in one... get a nice fine in the mail like the multanovas these days.
pretty sure the buses in london still carry the cameras, not just forward facing but rear facing as well

ive seen people pulled up using that lane..
I was almost tempted once..
coz these guys in another car were harassing me.. but just as i went to i saw nice shiney red and blue lights .. so i decided i best not and if the guys harass me atleast the cops would be able to see it :P

thats a good corner when the lights are green and no one else is on the rd :P

man.. the rds all around where i live now (the lakes part of ballajura) used to be my lil drift track (when i was younger) in my 04 barina used to hand brakie around the paved corners hehehe.. was fun.. but wouldnt dare do that now.. im a bit more wiser than to do that.. and good thing i dont..

back OT: bus drivers should get 2 lanes.. (because they like to change lanes with out indicating or without checking mirrors) they are by far (right up there with taxi drivers) the worst drivers ever! how the hell did half of them get a licence to drive such a large piece of machinery!?!?!

Probably because of that big "Give Way" sign on the back of the bus.
I know I wouldn't like to be a bus driver.

Not only can bus drivers not drive for shit, theyre rude pricks too!
I never give way to the pricks now, payback for when they used to ask me for my concession card when they pulled up outside our school to pick us up in our school uniform, then dont let you on when youve only got enough coin for a student ticket lol

Hehe I've just started training to be one. Let me tell you all, they are trained correctly and you have to do a driving evaluation which determines if you get a job or not. It's what they do afterwards that's the problem. Almost everyone, regardless of what class of license, starts out cautious, courteous and sensible. But after awhile some people show their true nature as dickheads and think they own the road. We've all seen 'em. The one's who absolutely must be in pole position at the lights even if it means cutting in front of a truck/bus who has already commited themselves to a braking distance, screeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeech BANG. The one's who give 1 flick of the indicator and move 2 lanes over, speed up to get around you and then pull back in front of you AND then do 5km/h LESS than you were doing before!!! I guess that after awhile people get sick of it and forget all those things we are taught when we're learning to drive. Pobody's Nerfect

rex-io there is good and bad in everything and unfortunately with bus and taxi drivers the majority are bad. give way does not excuse the lack of indicating or the lack of checking mirrors.. sorry.
