Yep, these have been kicking around for a few months now.

Someone at work brought a carton in, and they are not the same as proper Coronas...they taste a bit sub-standard!!

Interesting...

Are they available at any bottleshops or do they just appear in a work fridge? I wouldn't mind doing a taste test.

im guessing carlton produce corona for china too? and they used some of the chinese packaging?

All the Chinese ones I've seen have a little white sticker on the back with the distributors details, I'm pretty sure they are in Wembley.

They do NOT taste like a normal Corona. The caps are plain too, without the Corona logo on them. First time I had one, I thought they were home brew because they didnt quite taste like a Corona, then I found out that they were "China" Coronas.

coronas are available in china lol.. my ex went there and the only thing he drank the whole time was coronas he reckons they taste no different to what we get here.. but then he probably drank that many that he really doesnt know. :P

they have a different lid but it does have the corona symbol on them, they are still made in mexico and taste exactly the same. and yeah, they have a little white sticker in english on them. I've seen them around for a few months too

My last batch of corona's were like that and I was wondering where they came from, but they are back to the original version here again (Melville area). They must have been low in stock and grabbed some from the Chinese stock (because they are becoming more popular).
