Hey guys doing some research for a share that it currently doing testing on an onshore gas well. When testing a zone they got a "gas flare" and shut down the well for more testing.

For those that are in the know, does a gas flare equal a commerical gas find? or can a gas flare occur but not be sustained??

Any help or points of direction would be appreciated..
