Default what wireless router

I have an excellent belkin router dual antenna has great range . but needs a seperate adsl modem.

at the moment though im using a speedstream modem all in one wireless hard wired and adsl modem all in one great unit range isnt as good though.

so what sort of unit is there to get that has excellent boosted range on the wireless and hard wired systems probably 4 terminals minimum and adsl modem all in one

i seen this one looks kinda flash but just trying to find more info on it to see if its got the modem in it too looks like it has the range by those antennas lol

If you've already got a modem/router .. Just get a decent Access Point. I have Cisco Aironet AP .. which is very good quality.

Depends on your current setup and what your ADSL modem can do.

If you can detach the antenna and add another one, then thats a possible option.

If you setup two AP's with the same name on your LAN, you can position them around the house so that your wireless devices 'roam' automatically between AP's.

yeah not sure. only reason i liked the all in one is just less cable and crap and easier to setup in the sense at the moment i have this one set to direct the ip to my dvr
and to do that with a router and modem i thought it may be bit harder ?

plus still gotta run hard wire to access point where it is in the house which i spose isnt a big deal but if one modem can do same range good quality i thought maybe

If you want all in one get a Billion 740xVGP series.

I have a 7404VGP and it has been the best purchase I ever made. Set it up once and forget it.

+2

I have been a billion user for years

I have a 7404 VGP-M at home with external antenna, it works sweet

I have 3x 7401's that I have at the family businesses, they all work sweet, have not been rebooted (except in blackouts) since I installed them years ago.

+1 for Billion .. Our of all the modems I have used, it synced the highest @ 14Mbits 3km from the Exchange.

Now using a Cisco 877 for bragging rights.
