Mac is for people who cant run a pc properly.

I used to have macs but PC's are so much stronger in performance. Mac has to rely on "our chip is soooo fast blah blah blah" but they forget that the bulk of the work in a game is done by the video card and the memory. Do macs even have SLI video card setups? and what does 2gig of mac ram cost?

I love my Mac, but the hardware has proved pretty unreliable unfortunantly.

I too have been through a logic board, a battery and the cord stuffed up too, all under warranty. Has just gone out of warranty so hopefully no more problems. This isn't including the first one I got which had to be refunded cause it wouldnt work without the power cord plugged in.....

I have been in the industry for a long time now, I still support windows machines however personally I will never buy a PC again, I will be a mac user forever. Everybody who asks me about them, I tell them to go and buy one.

As for your comment about re-learning John, it takes all of about 5 seconds until you can use one of these better than a PC.

Mac FTW

rofl polar

When was the last time you looked at mac hardware?

plus the fact is the operating system is more efficient than windoze hence why i can run games under emulation faster than they run natively on vista

I have pc certs coming out of my ass so im hardly someone who cant run a pc properly

Graphics
Choose from a selection of PCI Express graphics cards from both NVIDIA and ATI, each able to support up to two displays including at least one 30-inch Apple Cinema HD Display. Select a higher-performance card for more advanced graphics work, or add more than one card to power an array of displays simultaneously for visualization projects and large display walls.

Please note: Selecting the ATI Radeon X1900 XT may delay the shipment of your Mac Pro.

Oh I agree. Took me 30 seconds

I was just referring to n00b computer users out there. When I sat my Mum down in front of a Mac, she freaked and couldn't use it. It would take someone like her a lot longer to become comfortable with a Mac is all I am saying.

Now good fun is taking a friends PC and reinstalling it with MacOSX x86 (one of the *cough* legal ones) and watch their faces

As a side note, I was impressed it actually ran.

I'm probably going to sallary sacrifice a macbook pro, they are pretty slick and parallels seems to run beautifully here at work. Will be easier than modding my apple tv to run osx anyhow haha.
