mate brought it over last night. its a 8 gig game!!!
he had to put it on 3 dvds coz he deleted the install file cause that couldnt be burnt either onto a dvd being too big. haha.

copied it onto my comp. but few files didnt copy (maps of aus and spain ) few dll files also werent on vista. was a bitch for a while but i eventually got it going. but some maps dont work.

from what i have played so far, that game has already got me hooked in one hour. absolutely awsome. graphics - brilliant, gameplay - brilliant.

was about to buy a sti spec c last night but i couldnt cause the certain map didnt copy.... off to eb i go!

whos played it and got it?

yeah you require a dual layer dvd to burn the game.

had a bash on an xbox360 on the weekend, loving the pikes peak tracks.

Awesome game.... my computer can't run it but I'm upto tier 3 races on a mates computer. My advice is to definately play the game with a wheel or at least a joystick. Keyboard doesn't quite cut it for the fine corrections u constantly need to make. And just remember the game is actually at its hardest on the pc... they dumbed down the console versions to appeal to the masses.

Yeah keyboard isn't very good for controls, much harder to get the tail out. Visually its amazing, though for some reason it lags quite badly on multi-car races, or at least it does on my computer. The Aussie tracks are awesome, IMHO the best in the game, so yeah, something to look forward to.

I still prefer Richard Burns Rally for the physics engine though, best rally game ever in terms of realism

wont play on my pc :-( Many high end matchines are struggling with it. Havent seen it smooth yet but im guessing it looks pretty sweet.

its got alot of bugs aswell
