Its crap the way they have done this, having a new coach wont do the team or playing group any good at this time of the year.
As poor as the team is going this year Chris coached them to their best ever year in 2006 and at least deserved to play out the end of this season.

what I think is funny is I dont know if anyone else has noticed, if a team playing well the players get all the credit ...
but if the team is playing crap it gets blamed on the coach

I can't imagine that replacing at this stage of the season will help the dockers much this season but maybe the idea is the new coach will be more settled for the beginning of next season.

That's what I mean Brenno. You can't have Pavlich, Bell, Carr, Sandilands etc (Farmer when he's not propogating stereotypes) all playing for the same team and still losing reguarly. Not saying they should win every game and might as well give them the flag, but they do have a fair bit of talent in their group and IMO should be winning 80-90% of their games. Sure it's not all Chris' fault, but some of his tacktics/playmaking are and that's where the buck stops.

Yeh its a weird way of how they do it, but its not only the coaches fault the players are also to blame for this season but meh its only fremantle dockers, i reckon while they are at it get rid of farmer spends half or more of the season suspended and is just a waste of time.

dorkers arent gonna get anywhere if they keep playin like they do....

maybe they should take up the eagles trick... coke and ice is the only way these days

Connoly did well i think, we all know he wouldve been sacked in the next few weeks anyways......this way he gets it over and done with himself and will be a hot topic this week when the FOOTY SHOW is in Perth and will get to answer questions directly....i think it was a smart move!

collonely wanted to leave now and not end the season. Everyone knows that there is no point in waiting to the end of the season as they can be busily trying to secure another coach..

You have to remember, melbourne and more likely essendon will also be looking for new coaches... Its a good thing to start early imo

Plus pavlich wants to know whos coaching the team before he decides if hes gonna resign with the club.
