where to stay in japan?
probably a long shot but anyone been to the land of the rising sun and can recommend where to stay? probably hit tokyo, kyoto, and hiroshima/osaka.. just lookin for hotels really, with so many around good to have some opinions, some rooms can get pretty tiny apparently.

I'll be heading over there in Feb and also need to organise accomodation.

Depends on the hotel
Probably around the $200-300 mark, not sure what that gets you in Japan though.

u can get nice hotel for that amount..do u know which part of japan? Tokyo is big ..

get there 16th oct. looking at ginza district atm.. right now the mercure looks pretty good for 210ish/night with brekky included

ginza is a flash place....its like the king's street here in perth

apparently yeah... i was surprised that the mercure and other places in ginza were around the 200ish/night.. that's whati found on asiarooms.com
also lookin for somwhere to stay in singapore for 3 nights on the way back |

stay outside of tokyo if you can
you can stay at "inns" outside near the airport at narita (around chiba prefecture) there's a train that goes to tokyo, 1hr trip the inns are like a bed and breakfast and can be relatively cheap, around 120 do a google search, you'll find a few of them |
