probably a long shot but anyone been to the land of the rising sun and can recommend where to stay? probably hit tokyo, kyoto, and hiroshima/osaka.. just lookin for hotels really, with so many around good to have some opinions, some rooms can get pretty tiny apparently.

Depends on the hotel

Probably around the $200-300 mark, not sure what that gets you in Japan though.

u can get nice hotel for that amount..do u know which part of japan? Tokyo is big ..

get there 16th oct. looking at ginza district atm.. right now the mercure looks pretty good for 210ish/night with brekky included

ginza is a flash place....its like the king's street here in perth

apparently yeah... i was surprised that the mercure and other places in ginza were around the 200ish/night.. that's whati found on asiarooms.com

also lookin for somwhere to stay in singapore for 3 nights on the way back

stay outside of tokyo if you can

you can stay at "inns" outside near the airport at narita (around chiba prefecture)
there's a train that goes to tokyo, 1hr trip
the inns are like a bed and breakfast and can be relatively cheap, around 120
do a google search, you'll find a few of them

singapore should be easy
if u like shopping, stay near Orchard road
