I know this "bloke" with an awesome collection of jugs, shot glasses (probably 50 with about 20 different designs), pint glasses, bar mats etc etc

Another mate has a table and chairs from some beachside pub, plus an assortment of really random stuff like macca's flags LOL

Ohh to be 18 again!!

I agree maybe the redback glasses etc, but the pub glasses def cot money to be made etc.
Having just had a big part in re-opening a pub, i can tell you the glasses either cost sweet FA or they are paid for by various brewerys. Trust me, a few going for a walk every weekend is a given and not a big deal. Can guarantee staff will drop more than people steal.

Yeah Belgium beer cafe stopped selling the large hoegaardens after ass wipes kept stealing the glasses. The glasses came from europe and cost around 10bucks + shipping each.

Stealing glasses is nothing to be proud of in my opinion, now I have to get to the bar every 5mins to get a new small hoe.

I've got an asahi glass. I blatantly stole it from the birsbane. I also blatantly stole 6 Coca Cola/Nandos glasses. When I went to Europe I came back with 11 different glasses wrapped up in my socks and jocks. my fav is the dirty big gold Class coke glass. that fucker is huge. i put it down my pants and pretended i had a huge package

It's pretty easy taking stein glasses from Belgium - so many exits!

I've heard of the "shoe deposit" thing, and they have the basket hoisted above the bar, but i've never known anyone who has actually had to give up a shoe before
