Use the Whingepool broadband choice page:

http://bc.whirlpool.net.au/

Everyone is going to have different needs and wants with internet connections. Put in your suburb / budget and find out what is available.

Amnet.

EVERY time I've called them with a query, I get a PERSON on the phone, IN PERTH...

One time I asked them about my ADSL2 speed and they said to me "well you live in XXX street, which is around 4km from the Tuart Hill exchange up on Wanneroo Rd, so that speed is fairly normal."

I'd like to see an international call centre gimp come up with that!!

I've never had to wait more than a minute or two either, they don't put you on hold for very long.

I was always with westnet, best service i've ever had and to be honest i'd love to stay with them, just moved out recently and went with iinet 24mbit. service was alot better than i was expecting, connecting to my exchange 23mbit so that always a bonus but yeah, their process from start to finish was all automated about the only annoying thinig was talking to people in india, but i suppose the 24/7 support is one of the bonuses of that.

ive been with iiNet for 4 years now. Never had a problem. When I need help I ring their Perth Local number, instead of the call centre number. Always had great service from them.

I pay $99 per month for home phone + ADSL 2+ with 10gb peak and 20gb peak limit and 24mb per second capabilities. I think I get about 9-10mb per second, which is normal with the distance i am from the exchange.

Exactly the same deal here except I have been with them 7 years.

I been with iiNet for 7 years and now I currently work for them.

I sync at 9Mbps for a distance of 3.3km from the exchange is avg.

Naked DSL is currently in trial and is due for release in Oct/Nov.

Check out Whingepool for info about Naked DSL.
