Hah, na it won't mate, be interesting if/when they bring in the get caught at 50 kmph over = car crushed regardless of who owns it . Be intersting to see a few kids with 'daddys car' get caught and have to explain that to their parents.

I love it how the media mention it is a tax payer funded government car.

That is bullshit - the cars are leased through the outsourced companies which the government has contracts with. This Katie Hodson character would have an allowance in her contract for the provision of a car. This makes it a personal car, that SHE pays for which she leases through the government basically.

Her car - she can do what she wants with it.

Yea but her wage is payed out of revenue (ie. taxes) raised by the govenment. Not to say I don't agree with you though. She can do what she wants with it. Now she can catch a bus, which the government pays for, that I drive, while my taxes go to her salary, so she can pay for her fare. There you have it Economics 101
