Can anyone tell me why Geelong v Collingwood is being played at the MCG and not skilled stadium... i thought that since Geelong won their first final, the pre lim was to be played at there home ground, being skilled stadium... anyone know anything about it?
cheers

You can get more people into the MCG, which earns the AFL more money

A: The AFL has a contract with the MCG. 1 Prelim must be played there.
B: 100,000 people capacity vs 40,000 at skilled stadium. AFL aren't silly. Carn Geelong! |
