Thought I would make a thread to post all the hoon articles we so often link to, save making a new thread every third day.

What gets me is the girl doing 51km over the limit on the freeway at 1am in the morning gets the Headline, but the bloke doing 196km in a 110km at 6:30pm on a friday arvo gets shoved into a paragraph at the end of the article...

My guess is the reporters trying to highlight women are hoons too..

On a side note, not sure if anyone has seen the SGIO (i think) ad that says women get cheaper insurance, because they are safer drivers. I would like to do a test.

Female 23 with WRX with 1 speeding fine worth 4 points = 'Y' insurance premium with 'Y' excess

Would be interesting to see how much cheaper it would be for the female driver? And if so, is that sexual descrimination?
